What to Expect Before, During, and After the Photo Shoot

 

I know that getting pictures taken can be a very stressful experience! I want you to be relaxed and have fun! You never know what’s going to happen when you mix a camera with adults, children or pets, don’t worry we’ve got this!

 

Before:

 

I want to meet with you before the photo session. If we cannot meet in person you can call, text, or email me. I want to know a little about you, your family, your pets etc. I also want to know what kind of photo session we are doing, whether it will be in my studio, outdoors, or at a different location. We will also talk about your ideas and if you have a specific end product in mind (Like a family portrait for the wall or mantel, or a sweet picture of your child(en) for grandparents). We will also discuss what clothes/colors you will be wearing for the photo session and if you will be bringing props or have a particular theme in mind. After this meeting I will email you a contract that will state exactly what terms we agreed on. I will also send an invoice for your session retainer* which is due at booking with the remaining balance due the time of the session.

 

 

 

During:

 

During the photoshoot we will make getting the shots you want a priority, and have some fun doing it. We will use the props that you have brought along and make your ideas come to life.

 

 

 

After:

 

Within 48 hours I will send you a link to your digital gallery of proof photos so you can pick your favorites.  When you have chosen from the images, I will take care of any editing or touching up that they may need.  As soon as your photos are ready I will contact you with your final gallery link which you will be able to share with friends and family and order your favorite piece of art.

 

 

 

*all session retainers are non-refundable and non-transferrable.  In the event of illness or inclement weather, session retainers may be used at a later session if used within 90 days from the original session date*
